Bracing for floodwater from the Mississippi River, people fill sandbags in Carman, Ill. 20 levees have broken already this week, and another 30 are in danger of overflow by Saturday. There is imminent danger to towns’ water supplies along the Mississippi as chemical waste, sewage, oil drums and dead livestock pollute the river and flooded towns. 40,000 people have already been evacuated from the flood zone.
