Butcher shop window on rue des Abbesses, Paris. The French are particularly fond of displaying the animals they like to eat in stores and markets. Often you will see whole, feathered ducks, rabbits (with and without fur) on display next to chickens, and occasionally the heads of pigs and cows, which are sold for food to the traditionally-minded or those classically trained in culinary arts.
