A woman passes through an abandoned train yard where a large format exhibition entitled 28 Millimeters is on display for the annual photo festival Les Rencontres d'Arles, in the south of France. The show is part of a project begun in 2004 by JR, a photographer using a camera he once found in a subway, and a 28mm lens. His street portraits are blown up poster-size and wallpapered onto urban landscapes, transforming street into gallery. Photo by Eric Francis.
