Monument en Sucre, How to Use Artistic Means to Elude Trade Barriers: an installation currently at the Palais de Tokyo by artists Lonnie Brummelen & Siebren de Haan, created from excess European sugar bought in Nigeria, and shipped back to Europe in large cubes, as sculptural works of art. The exhibit is accompanied by a 16mm film and book that document the process of its creation. Photo by Danielle Voirin.
