A partially-bloated Ronald McDonald aims at the world. Wednesday night on Manhattan's Upper West Side, balloons for today's 83rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade were inflated by mostly volunteer preparation crews. Every year on the eve of the holiday, the difficult-to-hide parade setup is open to the public, and families (with throngs of children) flock to the site to get a closer look. Ronald, for his part, is still aiming at the world, in particular the Amazon Rain Forest.
