Coming home from a recent shopping trip in Paris revealed an unexpected tour around the world (as well as my prudent color choices.) It's safe to assume this alludes to the issue of sweatshop labor. These clothes are inexpensive and generally not made to last. They're trendy, of the moment, so we don't expect much of them. Looking at the list of countries represented makes me wonder about the hands that created them, and whether I really needed them. Photo by Danielle Voirin.
