March 29 | Eclipse Pause THE 3/29 eclipse is within hand's reach. I think that the events of the past week or so have revealed some of the direction of things. I just got off the phone with someone in New Paltz who told me there is a peace conference happening in Turkey, in the path of totality; this is the only Middle Eastern country where both Jews and Arabs are welcome. The ground is rumbling and I hear the sound of people finding their voices. Remember, as Patric Walker would say, "The stars in their courses may guide us, but it is we ourselves who must row the boat." Eclipses are above all moments where we may shift the continuity -- that is, seek and find something different; make a choice; embark on a future different than the past. I don't think there is anybody who doesn't want something different, and this is a moment of choosing. To that end, I would summon the assistance of the gods and the saints, of our ancestors who want only the best for us, of Master Chiron and all our mentors of astrology, of Lord Krishna, Radha the wise, Allah, Jesus and the Masters of the Great White Lodge, Buddha the inner teacher, Amma, Yogananda, and all those who work with us in the light: please stand guard over our lives and our planet at this moment of decision. Yet more than that, I know that at the core of humanity is the light of fairness, love and freedom, and it is this spirit we need to reach within ourselves more than anything. It's the spirit of creation and healing that we are endowed with that we need to reach and let guide us through these crucial years of our history. It doesn't have a name but I know you feel it.
