Yours & truly, e - in Paris Dear Eric: Mine were nothing to write home about (they were better a couple of days before the eclipse), but this one that my friend had was hilarious and very much in the lunar spirit. I have a good friend (and former roommate) named Aaron. He's 24 years old, a Cancer, and has been out of the closet for about a year now. Last night he told me about the dream he had on the night of the full moon.  In it, he applied to become a member of NOW. He was notified of his rejection via a terse email message that said only: "Not a chick." Then he woke up feeling truly bummed. I had a dream on lunar eclipse night. i found myself in a scene with a pair of curtains that were huge and invisible actually. a guide was asking me to lift the corner of this veil and look behind it. so I did. I had a dream Tuesday about elephant seals. I continue to read on only to find people sharing of their own dreams under the lunar influence. I thought it was a bit of a coincidence so I hope you don't mind if I share! It's brief as I only recall the exciting part. I was observing from behind some rocks these great big seals on a beach. I had moved in to get a closer look and quickly found myself in a dangerous situation. The seals became angry at the sight of someone in their space and lashed out with their tails but I moved out of the way quickly and missed getting slapped. I scrambled behind some more rocks and figured I needed to get to safety. To my left, about ten feet away there was a high harbour wall and I figured if I could make my way to it I could climb up. Suddenly I noticed a crocodile on the beach between me and the wall but I told myself to, "just wait till the right moment," and then run for it. So I paused, watched the croc and waited til he turned his back and ran. I make it to the wall, all 15 or so feet of it and somehow fling myself up, grab hold of the railing at the top and swing myself to safety. As soon as I had my feet on safe ground I realised what an incredible achievement it was to have done all that and felt quite amazed at my own ability to get out of a sticky situation and survive. This feeling stayed with me when I awoke. Feel like I rode out the lunar eclipse like an experienced surfer. Cheers Eric! - Ash [Libra sun, Aries rising, Virgo moon.] Dear Eric, I have been a dream explorer as long as I can remember life, part of dream circles, dream studies, dream groups, a dream practice of my own. I loved that you put this request out for collecting dreams around this event. Perhaps you have done this before. I hope you will do this again. Though I have felt my dreams walking along that line, before consciousness has the greater pull, and I am awake, none of my dreams -in sleeping- this period, surfaced long enough to be written on this plane. I have come to recognize and trust that this is deep working in my psyche and I let them go. They will come up, like porpoises, when they are ready to connect me to their presence. However, I have had nearly two weeks of a watery creative dreaming in a big and complex creative project I am working on, allowing me to go deeper and deeper into it, ride in its fluid mystical sensuality and transform and be transformed in it, simply by riding, allowing myself to be taken by this ethereal wave. A resulting sense of stability seems to be emerging within as this occurs. Very dreamy. Synchronicities crack open in pops, like the currents are charged with something juicy. Thank you for your attention to the psyche. Very enjoyable. -Bobbi For the past week give or take, my dreaming has been VERY broad-band, fast-streaming; too much going on in them (multi-layers and all) to specify any particular "story"; During waking hours I am practically vibrating as well (no, not from Starbucks OD) Focus is available, but at the eye of a storm. Clearly there is much "coming through" and "clearing". I have been tracking my dreaming since I was a child; this phenomenon is pretty unusual; that is, so much going on that it's impossible to track. Note this is NOT sleeplessness or that kind of night that comes with the brain "not turning off" while it mulls over daytime BS. No, this is dreamtime. BTW, my senses all seem to be on "high-input/output" stimulus right now too. I've never smelled so well! I was able to "capture" one portion of dreaming last night... Large black "spirit" of a woman came to me.  I came to her as well (I am colored white).  She wasn't beautiful so much as we would describe it; she was beautiful in her sensuality and spirituality. She was woman but with what I would have to describe as an eel's tail -- long and never ending and floating, swaying.......all of her was floating perhaps as one in water. She came to me and I came to her; she sucked my breasts until my milk overflowed for her pleasure. And for this, in return she then had a penis, and she penetrated me as she sucked and it was perfect mutual giving and receiving. There was no particular ending nor conclusion.
