March 15 | A Touch of Madness

THERE IS definitely a touch of madness to a lunar eclipse. That touch touches many people at every Full Moon, but an eclipse has a special charge. It's a Full Moon and a New Moon combined; I look at it as living a month in a night. Anyway -- if you're feeling a bit edgy, it's that kind of night.

And for everyone who just goes sailing through without being the least bit disturbed or perturbed, and is having an absolutely fine time being electrified by those high-voltage Virgo moonbeams, well, we won't hold it against you.

--

So on that note, I've stepped outside...I am posting this blog by SMS text message, I am quick with two fingers. I am staying in Brussels tonight, and was surprised to discover how calm and quiet it feels outside...okay I had the television on...the Moon is nowhere to be found -- perhaps that's because it's an eclipse.

Going out without my camera, with no place special to go, only looking for the Moon, I've discovered that the city has not taken down its Christmas lights yet, and that a street corner I thought was about 15 blocks away is actually just one block away, if you take the short route.

But -- no sign of that Virgo Moon at the moment. But it must be here someplace...

Catch you in the morning.
