March 14 | Back from a Breather

HOLLAND for my birthday -- that was fun. Living 4,000 miles from anyplace I've truly called home, The Netherlands always has that feeling for me.

It had also been quite a while since I was able to totally disconnect from the whole stream of tracking the planets, communicating with you and my other readers, and my usual mode of being in touch with my Planet Waves co-creators during most waking hours. It's an odd feeling to sink into another reality, as in non-digital reality -- and just take a deep breath. And hey, okay it's digital but I've been taking pictures again. The light is coming back and the light in Holland is really beautiful, like there's a big hole in the sky that let's in these unusual rays. So I'll be sharing some of those images with you.

I'm back just in time to stand in for Jonathan Cainer's daily horoscope for a long week, longer than usual because I'll be covering straight through the weekend and into next week. Jonathan never takes a break during a boring phase of astrology. By my reckoning it usually involves Mercury retrograde or an eclipse. This time, both are in the neighborhood, as is the vernal equinox...and quite a few square aspects: Sun square Pluto; Jupiter square Neptune; Mercury square Mars. Full on, cousins!

All of this leads directly into the 3/29 cluster -- about which I will have more to say on Thursday, in Astrology Secrets Revealed. This basically involves three major events taking place centered on March 29: An eclipse of the Sun on the Aries Point...Pluto stationing retrograde on the Galactic Core...and the progressed Moon of the Inauguration chart reaching an exact opposition to Pluto.

As you may know, I don't like making specific predictions. I could, and sometimes do, but prefer not to get in the way of the Fates.

However, on the international news scene, I can tell you this with some confidence: it looks like we're in for some fairly big news either right close into the 3/29 eclipse, some time in the spring season, or both. Eclipses can reverberate for years, and they surely work their changes over the three to six months that follow them. But lately the astrology has been getting fast results, the Aries Point has been extremely sensitive, and there is a timing factor involved in 3/29 -- namely the progressed Moon in the Inauguration chart.

I'll need to look for my best previous efforts at explaining this, but basically, we are in that zone where events happen that leave BushCo unable to do much of anything, combined with a major shift in perspective. The indictment of Scooter Libby last October was like a warning shot. 3/29 is a lot more than that, and the more of us who are aware in advance and who are watching the signs, the more minds are available to raise awareness.

This awareness raising function is THE...the VERY...dare I say...spiritual piece of the whole puzzle. Anyone who avoids the news is right, it is entirely meaningless -- until you start paying attention and giving it meaning, or asking what the meaning is that you give to it and then deciding to give it a new meaning.

Have a look at this compilation on the Aries Point and see if you get any clues; see if you recognize any familiar themes:

Catch you again tomorrow. Thanks for tuning in, and thank you to all the readers who submitted their comments for our "What We Can Do" series during the past week or so, and thanks for all the friendly birthday greetings. It was a fun one this year.

Yours & truly,
