March 12 Continued | From Michelle
Hi
Eric
I'm an Aussie who's been reading your site, thanks to Jonathan
Cainer.
Eric,
because of your work I've grown as a person. I've found that the most profound
change I've experienced has been an increase in my value of ethics, allowing
myself to live in a better world.
I worked in the corporate world up until 8 months ago, when I said NO
MORE and quit my job. I left work because I was burnt out. Sitting at home,
nurturing my family, I became whole again. I came to the conclusion that I
needed a job that would not compromise my standards of fair treatment.
I've started a new job working with people with disabilities; it's the
most fun I've ever had at a job because I know how to have a laugh and so do
they. I can now nurture my ethics because it's a part of my job description.
What I'm trying to say to everyone is DON'T COMPROMISE. If you want to make a
change read the signs in your
environment that say you're being sucked under and then make a turn down a
brighter fork in the road. After all ... the world is the room that you walk
in.
Thanks, Eric - you make a
difference.
