Feb. 26 | Psychic Weather Advisory

BEFORE I resume with my analysis of the entire world in Monday's edition, if nobody minds, I'll slip in a little mundane astrology -- a weather advisory re. the Pisces New Moon and also Mercury stationing retrograde in Pisces. That's a lot of Pisces, particularly given that Jupiter in Scorpio is trine both events, and there has been a lot of Neptune in the air the past couple of weeks.

Here is the chart. This occurs in Europe and the UK very early Tuesday morning and in the USA, Monday evening. In Australia, it's a bit later in the day Tuesday.

There are a number of factors to this setup, and basically what you have is a situation where everything in Pisces is making contact with an outer planet. Indeed, the three most personal of the planets, Moon, Mercury and Sun, are all in close aspects to outer planets, to wit: the Moon and Sun conjunct Uranus; and Mercury simultaneously making a square to Pluto and the Galactic Core.

Taken apart or together, these are both a setup for a turning point. But it will have its turbulent qualities (Uranus so prominent, as well as a Mercury station) as well as its harsh or extremely decisive moments (the Mercury to Pluto square). Mercury-Pluto is so precise as to be surgical.

However, with Uranus and the Galactic Core involved, there is the influx of higher vibration energy that in contrast most of our concerns and ideologies pretty much wipe clean the kinds of considerations we have in our usual day-to-day affairs. There is a real feeling of getting rid of the chaff and keeping the grain; if burning off karma. The transitions do seem to be moving quickly, and they do seem meaningful.

There seems to be a distinct shift in levels indicated in this New Moon chart, and what works or seems to function anyway at the lower vibrations does not usually work so well at the higher ones. So, on the Earth level there are turning points, but if you think in terms of a vertical or multidimensional axis, there is a process of leaving behind the conflict and shifting to a space where the contradictions lose their meaning.

In terms of the Mercury-Pluto-Galactic Core square, which holds solid from now clear through the week because Mercury stations midweek and is thus stationary, there is an inner dichotomy of soul vs. emotions indicated; and getting clear on the emotional level while keeping your intentions focused on your deepest inner sense of direction. There is not really a conflict between these levels, but the square says we may experience it as one.

And the station of Mercury says that there are decisions involved; that retrieving or resolving something from the past may be involved; that coming to closure on something -- which story continues through the next time Mercury comes back and squares Pluto in April -- is a big piece of the puzzle. The GC has a famously nonjudgmental quality. You could not say the same thing about Pluto, which seems to push everything to judgment; but the contrast in power between the two points is a little like a match next to the Sun. So it's Pluto itself that is coming in for a reckoning, and Mercury is in an interesting position.

I would say this has something to do with making up one's mind, and aligning one's mind with soul and nothing else. Surely, this is all preparation for events to come, and there are many.
