Sun Void of Course: Slippery when Airy
Today, Monday, the Sun is in the last degree of Gemini. As I write,
it's about 18 arc minutes, meaning it has approximately 19 hours
before reaching an exact square (90 degree angle) to the Tropic of
Cancer and thus entering the astrological sign Cancer. This is why we
call our horoscope the "tropical horoscope -- it's based on the
position of the Sun as it makes aspects to the tropics and the
equater.
When the Sun is the latest planet out and the the next to change
signs, it's called "void of course." Many have heard of the void of
course Moon; this is the same basic idea. I find these are mysterious
days, when anything can happen, or when anything can happen and it
doesn't quite matter. This happens 12 times a year, usually for a day
or so,
I suggest taking slow moves today, and whenever possible waiting for
the Sun to arrive in Cancer before initating anything new. It is an
appropriate time to resolve matters, particularly those that are in
some kind of deadlock, as the combination of the Sun changing signs
and the Full Moon the next day should do well to break up the
congestion.
I won't say too much more, only ask for your experiences today and
note if they are a bit unusual, or in particular, the ways they're
unusual. Sun void of course has often felt to me like a mysterious
cosmic door opens up, and we get a view of what is possible, a taste
of the impossible, or a chance to be really different. Give it a feel.
Till tomorrow,
